Rock, Paper, Scissors

One of the things I’ve been struggling with is how to be more consistent with the quality of my work and get ideas for pieces. Boredom, being in a rush, disengagement and anxiety slow my progress, kill inspiration and stop the flow.

So I’ve decided to use daily thoughts and observations as material for current work. The inspiration for “Rock, Paper, Scissors” came to me on a day recently when I was thinking about choice and how so many people have so little. It’s about ‘being caught between a rock and a hard place”. I used drawings, paint, paper mache and pencil to construct this piece. Please comment!
